File a Bill or Notice

You cannot delete a bill or a notice from the Bill Inbox, but you can remove it by filing it. When you file a bill, we save the bill, but do not pay it.

  1. From the navigation links, select My bills.

    Result: The My Bills/Pending Payments page appears.

  2. In the Bill Inbox, select the box to the left of each bill or notice that you want to file.
  3. Click File to file the selected bill(s) or notice(s).

    Result: A message appears that reminds you that once the status of the bill has been set, it cannot be reverted.

  4. Click OK.

    Note: When you file a bill, you are responsible for any necessary notification or changes with the payee.

    Result: The selected items are removed from the Bill Inbox and a confirmation page appears.
